My Life According to Oasis

Just because I'm bored :) stolen from a friend on Facebook.

RULES: Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Pass it on to a bunch of people including me. You can't use the band I used. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think!

Pick Your Artist:
Oasis (favourite band... ever)

1. Are you a male or female?
"The Girl in the Dirty Shirt" (also happens to be my favourite song)

2. Describe yourself:
"I Hope, I Think, I Know"

"Roll With It"

4. Describe where you currently live:
"Half the World Away"

5. If you could go anywhere, where would you go:
"All Around the World"

8. Your favorite color is:
"Champagne Supernova"

9. What's the weather like:
"Turn Up the Sun"

10. Favorite time of day:
"Morning Glory"

11. If your life was a tv show, what would it be called:
"Shakermaker"

12. What is life to you:
"Magic Pie"

13. Your current relationship:
"Going Nowhere"

14. Looking for:
"Rock 'N' Roll Star"

15. Wouldn’t mind:
"Fuckin' in the Bushes" (tee-hee!)

16. Your fear:
"Part of the Queue"

17. What is the best advice you have to give:
"Love Like a Bomb"

18. If you could change your name, you would change it to:
"Lyla"

19. Thought for the Day:
"Stay Young"

  1. Hi Lisa!

First of all, thank you so much for your lovely comment- I remember you commented a few times before, and I'm happy to see you started your own blog- fabulous! I'm a huge Oasis fan, so I think we have quite a bit in common already ;)

I love hearing from my readers (um, not that I have tons, but...), and your comment really made me happy! I had no idea you lived abroad as well- so yes, it's quite a transition, and I love how you say that the places you visit become a part of you. It definitely does, and it changes you so much. And I agree that we still itch to travel more, to get to know ourselves better. Very well said.

So you're interested in going to Asia? You definitely should!! And if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help you out. I never through I'd end up living in Asia of all places, and it's crazy how much I love it (and miss it) now.

Thanks again for your comment, and I'll keep coming back to check out your blog!

    xx

  2. Hey!

Thank you for your kind comment! I'm excited, but I hope I won't ramble too much, as I tend to do that a lot in "real life"... hehe.

That's so great about Oasis <3 I could probably listen to their albums nonstop, their music just really speaks to me. I saw them in concert last year in Montreal, and it was definitely one of the best nights of my life :)

I did live abroad for a few months, but I had a few travel experiences growing up, and I feel that every single one made an impact on my life. I once spent a summer in Spain, and now there's a tiny part of me that's Spanish. For instance, I feel that gaspacho is an important part of life (sadly, I never get to eat it).

All kidding aside, I'm really itching to travel more. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied. And yes, I really want to go to Asia, especially Japan. Reading your blog religiously (I'm pretty sure I read every single entry you posted while you were in Seoul) also made me yearn to visit South Korea. I'm just not quite ready yet, but it's definitely a medium-term plan.

Thanks to you as well :) I have a feeling we're not done talking to each other just yet ;)
